Built in 1992, Hewai Mosque is located in Jinping Town, Qiubei County, Yunnan Province, covering an area of 2660 square meters. The worship hall is a palace of brick-timber structure, with an area of 210 square meters. The total area of the mosque is 460 square meters.
There are 378 Hui ethnic people, among whom are 3 imams and 10 manias. In addition, the mosque collects 30 copies of the Quran, 50 copies of the Miscellaneous Studies. The horizontal board hanging in the mosque inscribed four Chinese characters “ Quan Ti Da Yong”（全体大用） which was inscribed by the Major General Mawenzhong（马文仲）.
