Kunming-Chuxiong Transportation

Situated in the north-central of Yunnan Province, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture neighbors Kunming the east and Dali Bai Autonomous Region in the west. Located halfway along the highway from Kunming to Dali, one can arrange their journey to Chuxiong together with the visit to Kunming, Dali and Lijiang.   

How to Get to Chuxiong from Kunming?

By Train

Chuxiong is an important hub of middle Yunnan. It is the first stop from Kunming on the way to Dali and Lijiang. There are more than 20 trains running from Kunming and stopping at Chuxiong Train Station which lies in Cheping community(车坪社区), Donggua town(东瓜镇), Chuxiong city.

National highway 320 connects Chuxiong with Kunming, with distance of 160 kilometers. The Kunming-Dali Expressway pass through Chuxiong.
