Maguo River Town (马过河镇, Mǎguò Hé Zhèn) is situated in the western part of Malong District, bordered by Wangjiazhuang Street (王家庄街道, Wángjiāzhuāng Jiēdào) to the east, Jiuxian Street (旧县街道, Jiùxiàn Jiēdào) to the south, and Xundian County (寻甸县, Xúndiàn Xiàn) to the west. The town spans an area of 131.109 square kilometers and includes five village committees: Lushi (鲁石, Lǔshí), Maguohe (马过河, Mǎguò Hé), Mayi (麻衣, Máyī), Chezhuang (车章, Chēzhāng), and Hejia Village (何家村, Héjiā Cūn), with a population of approximately 16,800.
