Due to varied terrain and enough sunshine & rainfall, Yunnan boasts a large number of birds, which accounts for a big part of the species in China as it’s mild around the year. Every winter, a flock of red-billed gulls migrate from the chill north to Yunnan. Kunming is just the right place for watching red-billed gulls. You will see them hovering over the rivers and lakes.

Day 1 Kunming

Sightseeing and Activities:Green Lake, Western Hill, Dianchi Lake Dam
Accommodation: Kunming

The Green Lake Park(Cuihu Park) in Kunming

Pick up from your hotel . This morning, we visit the Green Lake, and start your birding tour from Green Lake Park.

Then transfer to Western Hill for birding tour.

In the late afternoon, drive to Dianchi Lake Dam and enjoy your birding tour here. The most common birds are seagulls around Dianchi Lake in winter. 

Drive back to hotel. Service ends.
