Introduction
Yunnan Pu’erTea Group Co., Ltd(云南普洱茶集团) is located in the well-known “Pu’er Tea Capital”-Ning’er County(宁洱县), Pu’er City(普洱市), Yunnan Province(云南省). It was established in April 1975, the former state-run “Pu’er Tea Factory” (its history can be traced back to the Qinggong Tea Factory established in 1729). In April 1975, the local government of Yunnan established the “Pu’er Tea Factory” on the site of the Pu’er Gong Tea Factory in the Qing Dynasty. When the factory was established, it was designated as one of the four major Puer tea manufacturers in the planned economy era of Yunnan Province.
At present, it is a key leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization in Yunnan Province. It is a group company with a long history engaged in tea planting, processing technology promotion, tea culture dissemination and tea marketing. It has five subsidiaries, four branches, six major ecological tea garden bases and nine tea factories.
The Group’s six major ecological tea plantation bases are Banshan Royal Gong Tea Plantation(板山皇家贡茶园), Huilian Organic Tea Plantation(会连有机茶园), Baicaodi Organic Tea Plantation(白草地有机茶园), Zhushan Ecological Tea Plantation(竹山生态茶园), Daheishan Ecological Tea Plantation(大黑山生态茶园), and Liangshuijing Ecological Tea Plantation(凉水箐生态茶园). The total land area is about 45,000 mu. With an area of more than 27,000 acres, tea trees all grow in high mountains at an altitude of 1500 to 1800 meters, and enjoy the essence of heaven and earth.
History
Origin
In 1729, Governor-General of Yunnan-Guizhou established the Qinggong Tea Factory in Pu’er House, hence the name of Pu’er Tea. This is also the historical origin of the Pu’er Tea Group in Yunnan.
Development
In April 1975, the local government established the former state-run “Pu’er Tea Factory” on the site of the Pu’er Gong Tea Factory in the Qing Dynasty and was designated as one of the four major Pu’er tea manufacturers in Yunnan Province.The high-quality genes of Qing tribute tea were passed on very well.
On January 14, 1994, the Group’s flagship brand “Pursue(普秀)” successfully registered its trademark.
In October 2004, Hong Kong Changtai Industrial (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. purchased the Pu’er Tea Factory in Ninger County.(宁洱县).
In September 2005, the company was renamed as “Yunnan Pu’er Tea (Group) Co., Ltd.”, with four subsidiaries.
In May 2013, Pursue(普秀) was awarded “Top Ten Brands of Pu’er Tea in China”.
In September 2013, the Group strategically laid out the high-end Pu’er tea market and established [Yunnan Pu’er Tea (Group) Co., Ltd.]-Yiwu Pu’er Tea Factory, focusing on the ancient six tea mountains and the tea market in Yiwu’s small production areas.
Six Major Producing Bases
Yunnan Pu’er Tea Group operates 6 major ecological tea bases in Ninglang County, including Banshan Royal Gong Tea Plantation, Huilian Organic Tea Plantation, Baicao Organic Tea Plantation, Zhushan Ecological Tea Plantation, Daheishan Ecological Tea Plantation, and Liangshuiyu Ecological Tea Plantation. It is fully self-managed by the group. The total land area is about 45,000 acres and the tea plantation area is nearly 270 million acres. The quality of the entire process is controlled, and the quality is guaranteed.
Banshan Royal Gong Tea Plantation(板山皇家贡茶园)
The Banshan base is the earliest tea base developed by the company. Originally the Royal Gong Tea Garden in the Qing Dynasty. The Banshan base is located in Dabanshan at the junction of Mengxian Township(勐先乡), Puyi Township(普义乡), and Liming Township(黎明乡). with an average elevation of 1,663.18m, annual rainfall of 1600mm, and an average annual temperature of 15 ° C. The planting area of Banshan Organic Tea Garden is 7470.39 mu, of which 327.8 mu is the ancient tree tea garden.
Huilian Organic Tea Plantation(会连有机茶园)
The Huilian Base is located in the Changlinggang area at the junction of Mengxian Township(勐先乡) and Tongxin Township(同心乡), 43 kilometers from the county. 1774m above sea level, an average annual rainfall of 1500mm, and an average temperature of 18 ° C. The total area of the existing big tree tea plantation is 5,551.55 acres.
Baicaodi Organic Tea Plantation(白草地有机茶园)
The Baicao base is located in the Baicaodi Mountain at the junction of Fengyang Township(凤阳乡) and Mohei Township(磨黑镇), 25 kilometers away from the county, with an average elevation of 1,173.33m, annual rainfall of 1500mm, and an average annual temperature of 17 ° C. Obtained organic conversion certification in 2008. The existing tea garden covers an area of 2156.25 acres.
Zhushan Ecological Tea Plantation(竹山生态茶园)
The Zhushan Base is located in Zhushan Village, Mengxian Township(勐先乡), 75 kilometers from the county, with an average elevation of 1,450m, an annual rainfall of 1500mm, and an average annual temperature of 20 ° C. The existing tea plantation area is 4712.62 mu, of which 1287 mu is a large tree tea plantation.
Daheishan Ecological Tea Plantation(大黑山生态茶园)
Daheishan base is 60 kilometers away from the county, with an average altitude of 1700m and an annual rainfall of 1200-1800mm. The existing tea plantation covers an area of 5010 acres, of which 121.5 acres of ancient tree tea gardens, the largest ancient tree tea is about 300 years (the trunk circumference is 50 cm, the tree height is 5 meters)
Liangshuijing Ecological Tea Plantation(凉水箐生态茶园)
Liangshuijing base is located in Wotuo Village(窝拖村), Dehua Township(德化乡), 15 kilometers away from the county, with an average altitude of 1500m, an annual rainfall of 1200-1800mm, and an average temperature of 18 ° C. The existing tea plantation covers an area of 1,245 mu, of which 321 mu is a large tree tea plantation.
