Zhaotong Airport (IATA: ZAT, ICAO: ZPZT) is an airport serving the city of Zhaotong in Yunnan province, southwestern China. It was built in 1935. Construction started in April 1935 and was completed on August 29, 1939. Its latitude is 27.33 and longitude 103.76 in China and operates in CST time zone which is the same time zone as Kunming. It is located in the east of Zhaotong plain on the south bank of the Jinsha river. Now, it mainly has direct flights to Chongqing and then transfer from Chongqing to other places. Besides, it has several daily flights flying directly to Kunming.
