The northern end of this region is 4 kilometers from Malong City, 90 kilometers from Kunming (昆明, Kūnmíng), and 24 kilometers from Qujing City (曲靖市, Qūjìng Shì), encompassing areas managed by Tongquan Street (通泉街道, Tōngquán Jiēdào), Jiuxian Street (旧县街道, Jiùxiàn Jiēdào), and Dazhuang Township (大庄乡, Dàzhuāng Xiāng).
