Dali City (Xiaguan Town)-Jianchuan County Transportation

Dali City and Jianchuan County are both under the jurisdiction of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. Jianchuan County(剑川县) is located in the northwest of Yunnan Province, the northern part of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. Shaxi Old Town and Shibao Mountain National Scenic area in Jianchuan County attract a group of  domestic and foreign tourists.

How to Get to Jianchuan County from Dali City(Xiaguan Town)

Although there are no railway station and airport in Jianchuan County, transportation between Dali City and Jianchuan County is easily available.

2. By Chartered Bus

In Yunnan, you can see many chartered buses and minibuses outside the scenic spots, railway station, airport and bus station. Because there are a lot of people in these places. Dali City and Jianchuan County as two important travel destination, there must many chartered buses and minibuses around Dali Ancient Town, Shaxi Old Town and Shibao Mountain. Like taxi, chartered bus and minibus are more convenient and flexible. But accordingly, you will spend more money.

While visiting Dali ancient town, many tourists will also visit Shaxi Town in Jianchuan County to learn the religious culture in Shibao Mountain and discover the important ancient town of Silk Road, Shaxi old town.
