Travel to Dali from Kunming by long distance bus is popular among tourists. Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture(大理白族自治州) is located in the central western part of Yunnan Province. Enjoying long history, Dali is one of the earliest cradle of Yunnan culture and has created glorious Dali Kingdom. By Long Distance Bus 

There are 10 long-distance buses available every day from Kunming to Dali City(大理). Tourists can take the long-distance bus from Kunming West Bus Station (昆明西部客运站) or Kunming South Railway Station to Dali Bus Station, the journey will take about 4 hours.
