Kunming to Tengchong Bus Schedule and Tickets Booking

Travel to Tengchong from Kunming by long distance bus is popular among tourists. Bordering Burma to the west, Tengchong is the important gateway for China to South Asia and Southeast Asia. As the famous hometown of overseas Chinese, cultural town and vital distributing center of jade, it boasts an important geographic position since ancient time. The city is named after the town of Tengchong which serves as its political center, previously known as Tengyue in Chinese.Kunming is the capital and largest city in Yunnan Province, Southwest China. Kunming is also known as the “Spring City”. The city is covered with blossoms and lush vegetation all-year round. Tengchong lies about 606 km away from Kunming City. There are 5  long-distance buses available every day from Kunming to Tengchong City (腾冲市).
Tourists can take the long-distance bus from Kunming West Bus Station (昆明西部客运站) to Tengchong Bus Station(腾冲客运站), the journey will take about 9~12 hours.

There are 6  long-distance buses available every day from Tengchong City to Kunming .
Tourists can take the long-distance bus from Tengchong Tourism Bus Station(腾冲旅游客运站) to Kunming West Bus Station (昆明西部客运站), the journey will take about 11~12 hours.
