Kunming – Bingzhongluo Transportation: By Plane & Bus
Bingzhongluo, which is called ‘A Heaven of Peace and Happiness’, is the most beautiful place in Nujiang Grand Canyon. It is seen as the other “Shangri-La” in Yunnan province. The transportation in Bingzhongluo is not that convenient. There is no direct transportation from Kunming to Bingzhongluo, and tourists need to transfer at Liuku from Kunming/Dali/Baoshan. Every morning, there are 1 or 2 buses running to Bingzhongluo directly which will take about 8 hours due to the bad road condition.
How to Get to Bingzhongluo from Kunming?
By Plane
Nujiang Airport is under construction and will be used in October, 2019. If tourists want to take plane to Bingzhongluo from Kunming, you can only arrive at Dali or Baoshan, then transfer to Liuku and change the bus to Bingzhongluo. Many flights to Dali or Baoshan are available for your choice.

Dali-Liuku Bus Schedules
At Dali Express Bus Station(大理快速汽车客运站), there are many buses running from 08:00 to 17:00. During 08:00 to 15:00, it departs every 40 minutes. And the last one departs at 19:00. The ticket price range from CNY 71-93. It takes about 5 hours. Dali Express Bus Station(大理快速汽车客运站) lies at No.1, South Ring Road, Dali City(云南省大理白族自治州大理市环城南路1号).
Baoshan-Liuku Bus Schedules
At Baoshan Bus Station(保山客运站), the buses running to Liuku depart at 08:00, 09:30, 10:30, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, 17:00, which take about 3 hours. The ticket price is CNY 51.
By Long-distance Bus
Tourists can take long-distance buses from Kunming directly to Liuku Town of Nujiang, or Gongshan. Liuku is about 581 kilometers from Kunming and the journey takes about 9.5-15.5 hours. Scheduled buses are available from Kunming West Bus Station and the departure time is 09:30, 11:00, 14:30, 18:00, 19:00, 19:30, 20:00.
