What to Wear for a July Kunming Trip
Bring long sleeve clothing, T-shirts, a light water resistant jacket and rain gear. You’ll need protection both on sunny days and on rainy days. If you go hiking, make sure your shoes are comfortable enough. On sunny days, the UV radiation is high, so covering your skin and wearing a hat might help.
Places to visit in July Kunming
- Jiuxiang Cave:
When it feels too cool and a little hot, you can keep cool and see a place lit up as with Christmas lights. Jiuxiang Cave is one of the largest cave systems in China. It is one of the natural highlights of the area, and it is only two hours from the center of Kunming. You’ll see waterfalls, underground rivers and streams, and many beautiful rock formations if you travel to Jiuxiang Cave. - Green Lake:
It is the most popular city park for tourists. Many foreigners like it very much.Locals especially like the seagulls. Many lotus are opening at this month. You will enjoy the beauty of all kinds of lotus. - Yunnan Provincial Museum :

West of Kunming city, offers something for every age. For older adults and kids, there is a scenic tramway and buses to ride. And for people who are fit, there are high stairways and long walking paths. For everyone, when the weather is dry, it is an opportunity to climbing the hill. On the top of Western Hills, there are many local snacks prepared for you.
